Press Brake Operator / Setter

Location: Shirebrook

Full-time, Permanent

Hours: Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm

Salary: £14-£15 p/h DOE

Are you looking for your next Press Brake opportunity within a growing and forward-thinking manufacturing business?

Do you have experience setting and operating CNC Press Brakes such as Amada, Trumpf, or Bystronik machines?

If so, we want to hear from you.

We are currently seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our team. As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating a press brake machine to bend, form, and fabricate sheet metal into various components. This is a full-time position based in our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate press brake machinery to bend and form sheet metal according to engineering drawings
  • Fabricate sheet metal components using hand tools and various tooling
  • Weld and grind components as needed for assembly
  • Perform basic mathematical calculations to ensure accurate measurements and angles
  • Assemble fabricated parts into finished products

Skills:

  • Mechanical knowledge related to press brake operations
  • Proficiency in fabricating sheet metal components
  • Ability to work with hand tools and various tooling
  • Experience in welding and grinding metal parts
  • Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations
  • Capability to assemble fabricated parts accurately
