An established architectural design studio in London is seeking a driven and commercially minded Business Development Manager to join its growing team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a relationship-focused professional to play a key role in expanding the studio’s client portfolio and strengthening its presence within the prime and luxury property market.
Reporting directly to the Head of Business Development, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building long-term client relationships, and helping position the practice as a leading name within the industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth individuals and industry stakeholders
- Represent the practice at networking events, industry functions, and client presentations
- Manage and report on sales pipelines, leads, and conversion performance against targets
- Lead pitches, presentations, and negotiations to secure new projects
- Oversee project proposals, contracts, and fee negotiations
- Collaborate closely with the Marketing team to enhance brand presence through PR, social media, and digital marketing initiatives
About You
- Minimum 3 years’ experience within a Business Development, Sales, Relationship Management, or similar client-facing role
- Previous experience within architecture, interior design, property, or luxury-focused sectors is highly desirable
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding business development targets
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Experience using Microsoft Office programmes including PowerPoint and Excel
- Working knowledge of InDesign would be advantageous
