Job Description:

Arcadis are seeking a Site Engineer to join our project teams delivering water and wastewater infrastructure projects, in Coleraine Northern Ireland.12-month contract.

What you’ll do

  • Support the Project Manager with site delivery and daily coordination
  • Set out works and carry out surveying/levelling (dimensions, coordinates, elevations)
  • Manage subcontractors and coordinate junior staff
  • Monitor progress vs programme; produce progress updates and site reports
  • Manage quality control, raise NCRs, maintain QA documentation aligned to ITPs
  • Maintain accurate site diary, construction records, and support as-built documentation
  • Drive HSE compliance on site and support environmental controls
  • Handle document control: recording/transmitting drawings and technical information
  • Liaise with clients, statutory bodies, and stakeholders as required

What we’re looking for

  • Degree in Civil / Mechanical Engineering or Project Management
  • 2+ years’ site engineering experience (water/wastewater ideal, not essential)
  • Strong setting out, surveying, and ability to interpret drawings/specs
  • Experience with QA records, inspections, and construction documentation
  • Proactive, organised, comfortable in a fast-paced site environment
