Responsibilities
- Support delivery of assigned work packages, ensuring activities align with project goals
- Coordinate subcontractors, site teams, and supply chain partners effectively
- Assist with planning activities, short‑term schedules, and progress tracking
- Monitor health, safety, and quality standards across site operations
- Collaborate with design, commercial, and site teams to maintain project flow
- Identify challenges early, contributing to practical and timely solutions
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and project documentation
- Communicate updates clearly to stakeholders and team members
- Contribute to continuous improvement and efficient ways of working
- Take ownership of assigned tasks, ensuring reliability and attention to detail
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- Understanding of construction processes, gained through study or early career experience
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively
- Clear communication skills, both written and verbal
- Collaborative approach, with confidence working across teams
- Problem‑solving mindset, with the ability to think practically on site
- Attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in documentation and delivery
- CSCS card, with SSSTS or SMSTS as an advantage
- Interest in infrastructure, structures, or station envelope works
- Familiarity with project tools, contracts, or construction systems is beneficial
