AJ Chambers are working with a fantastic City Law Firm who are seeking an experienced and motivated Residential Property Paralegal to join the growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented individual looking to develop their career within a supportive, fast-paced, and highly regarded conveyancing team. You will work closely with experienced fee earners on a broad range of residential property transactions for an impressive and established client base.

As the team continues to grow, they are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, organised, and eager to progress within a collaborative and professional environment.

The Role

You will assist with a wide range of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to post-completion, including:

  • Supporting fee earners on residential sale and purchase transactions
  • Preparing and reviewing legal documentation
  • Liaising with clients, solicitors, lenders, estate agents, and third parties
  • Managing key stages of transactions to ensure matters progress efficiently
  • Assisting with post-completion formalities and administrative tasks
  • Supporting the team to meet deadlines and maintain high service standards
  • Ensuring compliance with AML and regulatory requirements

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

  • A minimum of 1 year’s experience within residential property/conveyancing
  • A good understanding of the residential conveyancing process
  • Experience completing and submitting protocol forms
  • Knowledge of AML requirements and compliance procedures
  • Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a busy team
  • Exposure to acting for companies (advantageous but not essential)
