Senior Consultant / Principal Consultant / Associate – Infrastructure Planning & Consents
Location: London | Hybrid Working (2 days in office)
I’m currently supporting a boutique consultancy seeking to appoint a number of hires across Senior Consultant, Principal Consultant and Associate levels as part of its continued growth. The business operates exclusively within the infrastructure planning and consents space, advising clients on nationally significant infrastructure projects across sectors including water, nuclear and solar.
This opportunity would suit individuals with experience in working on development consent orders, environmental planning, stakeholder engagement or related planning and consenting disciplines.
Rather than delivering every aspect of the DCO process, the team focuses on strategic advisory work, helping clients navigate complex consenting challenges and shape project strategies from inception through to delivery.
The business has built a highly respected leadership team of experienced DCO specialists and combines technical excellence with a collaborative, supportive and people-focused culture.
Key Highlights:
- Exposure to nationally significant infrastructure projects across multiple sectors
- Strategic advisory and infrastructure planning-focused work
- Opportunity to influence major consenting and DCO strategies
- Strong progression opportunities as the business continues to grow
- Hybrid working model (2 days per week in office)
- New London office
- Collaborative and people-focused culture
- Exposure to clients across water, energy, transport and wider infrastructure sectors
Ideal Backgrounds Include:
- Infrastructure Planning
- Development Consent Orders (DCOs)
- Consents Management
- Environmental Planning
- Town Planning
- Major Infrastructure Advisory
There will also be opportunities to spend time on client sites where required, providing additional exposure and a closer understanding of project challenges, consenting requirements and stakeholder environments.
If you would be open to a confidential discussion regarding the opportunity, please get in touch.
