The role would suit a creative and technically capable individual looking to further develop their career within a collaborative and supportive environment.

The successful candidate will ideally have strong technical detailing experience and a genuine interest in conservation, heritage, and traditionally inspired architecture. You will contribute across multiple RIBA stages and should possess a solid understanding of construction detailing, UK building regulations, and project delivery processes.

The position would suit someone who is confident working both independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, with a proactive attitude and excellent attention to detail. Experience using ArchiCAD would be advantageous, although training can be provided.

Previous experience in classical or traditional architecture is not essential; however, an appreciation and interest in traditional design principles, conservation, and historic architecture would be highly beneficial.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ post-qualification professional experience
  • Strong technical knowledge of construction detailing and building methods
  • Experience working across a range of RIBA stages

  • Strong design, technical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Ability to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines
  • Comfortable working independently and within collaborative teams
  • Willingness to travel within the UK when required

Desirable Skills

  • Experience working on conservation, heritage, or traditionally designed projects
  • Knowledge or appreciation of classical and traditional architecture
