Senior FP&A Analyst

£65,000-£70,000 plus 15% bonus

The Consultancy Group are partnering with a well-known media business on an exciting Senior FP&A Analyst opportunity — a fantastic brand to have on your CV.

This role offers the chance to partner closely with senior stakeholders, providing commercial insight and supporting strategic decision-making as the business continues its growth journey following a number of recent acquisitions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Finance Business Partner to Global Editorial, supporting cost management, investment tracking, and business cases for growth initiatives
  • Partner with Licensing & Syndication, Marketing, Data & Insight, Reader Revenue, and the US COO to provide commercial insight and support decision-making
  • Deliver monthly reporting, KPI analysis, forecasts, budgets, and variance analysis across key business areas
  • Track subscription revenues, marketing investments, and ROI performance
  • Support forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning processes alongside FP&A leadership
  • Develop reporting, financial models, and analytical tools to improve business insight and performance
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships and provide clear financial guidance across the business

About you

  • Experience as a finance analyst in a fast moving media, digital advertising, technology firm or retail environment, dealing with building business cases, budgeting and forecasting, reporting, analysis and insight. Experience of Digital Publishing would be an advantage.
  • Strong business partner with ability to communicate financial insights clearly and simply to non-accountants: verbally, visually and in writing.
  • Strong numerical and financial analysis skills; able to identify trends, patterns and drivers from financial data.
  • Good team player, able to work collaboratively across finance and the business in a matrix structure.
  • Close attention to detail, and a structured approach to deliver against deadlines.
  • Experience working with financial and business systems to create and analyse datasets; Excellent Excel and financial modelling skills
  • Ideally qualified accountant, CIMA or ACA.
