Contract: Full time, permanent

Salary: £50k-£60k plus bonus

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Compliance Transformation to support the continued success of Reed. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for designing and delivering a forward-looking audit and compliance programme that drives operational efficiency while ensuring adherence to all legislative, regulatory and contractual requirements.

You will play a key role in shaping the future of compliance across the business by embedding smarter, more automated and data-driven approaches. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will work in close partnership with senior stakeholders across Reed to build practical, proportionate solutions that enable confident and compliant business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver a multi-year compliance transformation strategy focused on automation, efficiency and centralisation
  • Lead a prioritised audit and compliance programme with clear scope, timelines and outcomes
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to embed compliance into business operations

  • Deliver end-to-end audit and compliance projects across processes, systems and controls
  • Use data and insight to identify risks and drive targeted, evidence-based decisions
  • Lead, coach and deploy a high-performing audit and compliance team
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing pragmatic solutions to compliance risks

  • Plan and oversee all external audits (ISO, FWA, GLA, NHS Frameworks, HMRC, etc.)
  • Maintain compliance with UK and international regulatory requirements
  • Oversee complex cases including safeguarding, investigations and complaints
  • Report key risks and incidents to senior governance forums (ARC, ORG)

  • Build strong internal and external relationships, including regulators and partners
  • Track regulatory changes and translate them into actionable business improvements
  • Drive continuous improvement of compliance processes, tools and systems
  • Ensure the function operates efficiently and remains cost effective

Required Skills & Qualifications:

We are looking for a commercially aware and influential leader with a strong track record in compliance transformation and audit delivery.

  • Proven experience delivering large-scale transformation projects to scope, time, and quality
  • Strong senior stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Experience leading audit and compliance functions within a complex organisation
  • Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement in controls, compliance capability, and assurance outcomes
  • Excellent leadership skills with a focus on team development and performance
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to use data to inform decision-making
