We’re partnering with a leading integrated digital agency that works with a portfolio of well-known retail and ecommerce brands. Due to continued growth, they’re looking for an SEO Manager to join their London team and lead organic search strategies across a range of exciting retail accounts.

The Role

As SEO Manager, you’ll be responsible for developing and delivering SEO strategies that drive organic visibility, traffic, and revenue for retail clients. You’ll work closely with content, digital PR, paid media, and development teams to deliver integrated search campaigns and measurable business results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute SEO strategies across a portfolio of retail and ecommerce clients.
  • Conduct technical SEO audits and oversee implementation of recommendations.
  • Lead keyword research, content planning, and on-page optimisation initiatives.
  • Monitor organic performance and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Work closely with content, development, UX, and digital PR teams to maximise search visibility.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a key strategic contact.
  • Deliver regular reporting, insights, and performance reviews.
  • Stay up to date with algorithm changes, industry trends, and emerging SEO opportunities.

Requirements

  • 2+ years’ experience in SEO, ideally within an agency environment.
  • Strong technical SEO knowledge and experience managing ecommerce websites.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, GA4, and Google Search Console.
  • Experience developing and delivering successful SEO strategies for retail or ecommerce brands.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Experience presenting performance reports and strategic recommendations to clients.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable

  • Experience working with large-scale ecommerce websites.
  • Knowledge of Digital PR and content-led SEO strategies.
  • Familiarity with Shopify, Magento, BigCommerce, or enterprise CMS platforms.
  • Understanding of CRO and the wider digital marketing ecosystem.
