A leading London-based design studio is seeking a Freelance Senior FF&E Designer to join the team on a high-profile, large-scale luxury commercial project. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced FF&E specialist with a refined eye for materiality, strong supplier knowledge, and proven experience delivering sophisticated hospitality or commercial interiors.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the FF&E design process across luxury commercial projects
• Develop and present high-quality mood boards and material palettes
• Prepare detailed FF&E specifications and schedules
• Coordinate closely with suppliers, manufacturers, and procurement teams
• Source finishes, fabrics, furniture, lighting, and accessories aligned with the project vision
• Ensure design intent is maintained throughout delivery stages
• Collaborate with internal design teams and external consultants

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior FF&E Designer within luxury commercial or hospitality interiors
• Strong knowledge of suppliers, materials, finishes, and product sourcing
• Highly skilled in specifications, schedules, and documentation
• Excellent understanding of materiality and spatial storytelling
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced studio environment
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and relevant design software
