We are currently recruiting for an Engineering Supervisor to join a leading building maintenance provider on a prestigious commercial site based in Northampton.
This is an excellent opportunity to work for a highly respected maintenance company offering clear progression, ongoing technical development, and HVAP training for the right candidate.
The successful candidate will be electrically biased, holding relevant electrical qualifications, and will supervise a team of engineers while ensuring the effective delivery of planned and reactive maintenance across the site. Strong communication skills and a professional approach are essential, as you will regularly liaise with both the client and senior management team.
Duties: Supervising a team of maintenance engineers on siteCarrying out and overseeing PPMs and reactive maintenanceWorking on:Single & Three Phase PowerMotors & GeneratorsUPS SystemsLV/HV SwitchingEmergency LightingFire Alarm TestingAHUs, FCUs & VAVsCRAC UnitsPumps, Belts, Bearings & SealsSprinkler SystemsBMS OperationCarrying out plant and system isolations in line with safety proceduresEnsuring all corrective and repair works are completed to required regulations and standardsPromoting safe working practices and compliance across siteOrganising and managing subcontractorsCompleting RAMS, permits to work, and logbooksRaising and closing jobs via PDA systemsProducing reports and attending client meetingsKeeping the Account Manager updated on site activity and progressLiaising with client representatives regarding remedial and repair worksRequirements: City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installations xcswzye Electrically biased with strong building services maintenance experiencePrevious experience leading or supervising an engineering teamKnowledge of commercial building maintenance systemsHV/LV knowledge preferredMotivated, career-driven, and professional attitudeStrong communication and organisational skillsSalary & Benefits: £50,000 – £55,000 per annumMonday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pmHVAP Training Provided25 Days Holiday + Bank HolidaysPension SchemeOvertime AvailableOn-site ParkingOngoing Training & DevelopmentExcellent Internal Progression Opportunities…
