Forward-thinking Electrically biased engineer required for maintenance role at a large and reputable Telford based manufacturer, offering excellent salary, good overtime availability and additional earning potential. You will be joining a diverse team of electrical and mechanical engineers from various sectors and become a valued member of the engineering team.
JOB OUTLINE
Provide electrical and mechanical breakdown cover on automated fast moving equipment as well as the service and repair of production equipment in line with FMCG policies and safe working procedures.
THE ROLE:
Continuous improvement of electrical and mechanical equipmentDay-to-day attention to electrical and mechanical breakdowns and changeovers.An active position in generating ideas for improvement.Finding the root cause of any production problems and finding ways to prevent the problems happening again.Electrical fault-findingSafe installation of machinery and control panelsInstallation and service of material handling/weighing and wrapping machinery
THE CANDIDATE:
Experience in FMCG companies desirable.Willingness to learn new techniques & technology.Electrical and mechanical ability essentialLevel 3 NVQ/C&G essentialHNC/HND beneficial but not essentialTime served apprenticeship advantageous
