Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of tailored support plans for children with SEND to enable full participation in learning and reach their potential.
- Collaborate with families, staff and external agencies to design and implement individualized support plans.
- Promote an inclusive and nurturing environment where all children feel valued and supported.
Qualifications & Requirements
- At least Level 3 qualified in a UK recognised early years qualification and experience at a senior level.
- Detailed understanding of the requirements set by Ofsted, and excellent understanding of EYFS.
- Extensive knowledge of safeguarding children and experience working with children who have SEND requirements.
- Experience working in partnership with parents and outside agencies, and ability to demonstrate multi‑agency working.
- Experience leading staff meetings.
Safeguarding & Training
All staff and volunteers are required to uphold safeguarding commitments. An enhanced DBS check and a Disclosure and Barring Service certificate are mandatory. Regular safeguarding training will be provided.
