Job Summary

As a Senior Care Assistant at a Barchester care home, you will look after the various needs of residents to deliver quality, person‑centred care and support. Your role involves supervising and inspiring a team of dedicated Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager and supporting the clinical team with medication, assessments, care plans and care reviews.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and inspire a team of Care Assistants.
• Support the clinical team with medication, assessments, care plans and care reviews.
• Ensure residents’ dignity and preferences are respected while maintaining a warm, welcoming, and vibrant environment.
• Engage in person‑centred care practices and continuous improvement of care delivery.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
• Specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly.
