Theatre Healthcare Support Worker

Healthcare Assistant – Theatre at Woking Hospital, permanent full time (37.5 hours per week). Salary up to £25,545 depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Create a great experience for patients undergoing major and minor surgeries
• Have the time needed to care for patients as people
• Understand people’s individual needs
• Play a key role in a fast-paced environment, supporting the theatre team by assisting with moving patients, theatre preparation, family reassurance, and administration tasks
• Work flexibly to support our team

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care
• Relevant experience in an acute hospital or care setting
• Highly motivated, empathetic, with strong communication skills and a flexible approach to duties and hours
