Senior Residential Support Worker – Wiltshire

This role is ideal for experienced Residential Support Workers or Senior Residential Support Workers looking for a new challenge and the opportunity to progress.

What We’re Looking For

  • A caring, resilient, and dedicated individual
  • Aged 22 or over (in line with regulations)
  • NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Children & Young People (or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in residential childcare
  • Experience working directly with children and young people
  • Full UK manual driving licence

Key Responsibilities

  • Build positive, trusting relationships with children and young people
  • Support their emotional, social, and behavioural development
  • Safeguard and promote the welfare of children at all times
  • Support young people in developing life skills and independence
  • Work with children who may require high levels of supervision and support
  • Lead shifts and support the wider staff team
  • Contribute to staff supervision and development
  • Ensure policies, procedures, and risk assessments are followed
  • Assist with rotas and ensure placement plans and education needs are met
