We provide both sheltered accommodation and full nursing care, ensuring our veterans live with the support, camaraderie, and respect they deserve. We are currently seeking Care Assistants to join our dedicated team.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Providing the highest possible levels of care by supporting and assisting Pensioners with all aspects of daily living.
  • Engaging Pensioners in social activities and helping maintain a cheerful, welcoming environment.
  • Monitoring wellbeing and reporting concerns to senior staff.
  • Maintaining accurate care records and ensuring a clean, safe environment.

You will work under the supervision of a Senior Care Assistant and be part of a team that truly values respect, integrity, and excellence.

Qualifications

  • A genuine interest in working with older people.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Basic computer literacy and good written documentation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks.
  • Understanding of good care principles and the rights of older people.
  • Willingness to work towards the Care Certificate or equivalent, Disability Confident.

Position Details

This is a permanent, full‑time post with 12‑hour shifts. You will need to be flexible and able to work days, nights, and weekends, with shifts scheduled on a rota basis. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, so we encourage you to apply early.
