Job Description:
Science New Zealand is looking for an Animal Facility Technician to provide daily care for captive wild-caught and laboratory animals at the Manaaki Whenua-Landcare Research Animal Facility. This part-time role (4–6 hours per week) includes responsibilities such as feeding and cleaning animals, particularly on weekends and public holidays.
The ideal candidate will have experience with animals and a strong interest in animal care and research, plus enjoy benefits such as 4 weeks and 4 days of annual leave and generous sick leave.
