Role Overview
As a flexible working practitioner on our Bright Flex / Bank team, you will blend the convenience of bank/agency work with the security and benefits of being a full employee. You will support colleagues in delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) by engaging children in entertaining and educational activities, encouraging their development towards key milestones, and ensuring essential day‑to‑day tasks such as room tidying and preparation are completed.
Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of EYFS through engaging, educational activities.
- Encourage children’s development toward key milestones.
- Assist with room tidying, preparation and daily operational tasks.
- Use a variety of communication techniques with children and adults.
- Collaborate with the larger team to maintain a safe, supportive learning environment.
Qualifications
- Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
- Previous experience working with children (Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator, nanny, childminder or similar).
- Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
- Strong understanding of child protection and safeguarding.
- Flexibility and adaptability to varying work demands.
