Location: Sedgefield / Darlington

Salary: Up to £40,000

Call Out: 1 in 4 (£150 standby)

Hours: Monday–Friday

Are you an experienced Mechanical Plumber looking for a stable role within a professional facilities maintenance environment?

We’re recruiting for a Mechanical Plumber to join a busy on‑site engineering team supporting a large commercial site in the Sedgefield/Darlington area.

The Role

• Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across mechanical and plumbing systems
• Working on hot & cold water systems, pumps, valves and associated plant
• Fault finding, repairs and remedial works
• Supporting compliance and statutory maintenance
• Working closely with the client and wider engineering team
• Participating in the on‑call rota (1 in 4)

Requirements

• NVQ / City & Guilds in Plumbing or Mechanical Engineering
• Experience within FM or commercial maintenance
• Strong fault‑finding and reactive maintenance experience
• Good client‑facing and communication skills
• Full UK driving licence
