Accounts Assistant (on-site) | 40 hours per week | Leeds (LS21 1PY)

We’re seeking a methodical, detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our friendly and collaborative finance team at our Support Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to grow their skills and gain valuable hands‑on experience in a supportive environment.
The position is full-time (40 hours per week) and based at Bank Top Farm, Leeds, LS21 1PY.
What you’ll be doing:
- Requesting and reconciling supplier statements against our ledger
- Maintaining and updating Excel spreadsheets to track expenditure
- Posting supplier invoices and credit notes to the purchase ledger
- Raising invoices for internal recharges and external reimbursements
- Assisting with audit preparation and other ad hoc finance tasks
- Ensuring financial records are accurate, timely, and well maintained
What we’re looking for:
- Minimum GCSE grade C/4 or equivalent in English and Maths
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills
- A team player with a proactive and organised approach
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and/or working in a finance environment is desirable
- Full Driving Licence and daily access to a car is essential

- Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 per annum DoE

Location & working environment:
Our head office is based at Bank Top Support Centre, just outside Leeds (LS21 1PY). Surrounded by open fields and scenic walking routes, we’re minutes from Golden Acre Park – a great spot to take a breather. Please note there is no public transport nearby, so own transport is required.
