About the role – Disabilities Team
This is your chance to thrive in a team that will empower you to become the social worker you’ve always aspired to be. You’ll be part of a forward‑thinking, compassionate service that values your voice, nurtures your development, and champions your wellbeing, where no day is the same.
In this rewarding role, you’ll have the unique opportunity to work with:
- Young people preparing for adulthood, helping them navigate life’s transitions with confidence and care.
- Adults with learning and/or physical disabilities and/or autism, supporting them to live a gloriously ordinary life.
- Individuals at risk of being, or who have been, involved with the criminal justice system, working alongside them to understand their experiences, build trusting relationships, and co‑produce plans that promote safety, independence, and long‑term change.
We use Three Conversations, a strengths‑based, person‑centred approach, that helps us think about: “What does a good life look like to you?” From there, we work together to ensure the support we offer is tailored, empowering, and safe, promoting choice, dignity, wellbeing, and independence.
