New Store Opening – Customer Assistant – Backstage Operations – Godalming

Work Pattern

Weeks alternate between two schedules:

• Week 1: Sunday 09:00‑17:00; Saturday 10:00‑18:00
• Week 2: Sunday 09:00‑17:00; Saturday 03:15‑11:15

Unsocial hours between 22:00‑06:00 earn an additional £3.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

You will be the backstage powerhouse of our stores, managing stock, deliveries, and all behind‑the‑scenes work that keeps the shop floor full, clean, and ready for customers. The role is physically demanding and high‑intensity, requiring you to:

• Be fast, focused, and proactive, ensuring product flow with urgency and accuracy.
• Work across the wider store to meet the pace and demands of retail, adapting to early‑morning deliveries and shifting stock late into the day.
• Use digital tools confidently to track deliveries and manage stock.
• Support colleagues across the store, exhibiting strong teamwork and flexibility at all times.
