Assistant Merchandiser

Import Merchandiser – Fashion Industry

We are currently looking for 2 Import Merchandisers with experience in the Fashion Industry who love working with customers and have the ability to build strong relationships with Buyers from major retailers.

Responsibilities

• Support a major retail customer with day-to-day product merchandising.
• Ensure that products meet delivery dates.
• Raise orders and notify factories as required.
• Communicate with the buying team and understand key sample deadline and selection/sign‑off dates.
• Work with buyers and the design team to receive design packs.
• Ensure availability of all required samples for buyer selection meetings on time.
• Request buyers’ feedback.
• Ensure a timely review of account performance.
• Manage the critical path and keep the customer updated.
• Work with third‑party warehouse to ensure goods are booked and delivered as per agreed dates.
• Complete weekly dispatch reports.
• Arrange and lead customer meetings.

Qualifications

Ideally you will have some experience in import merchandising within the fashion industry and be looking to build your career.
