About the Role
Join Enhanced Compounding as a Production Technician. You will manufacture live‑saving pharmaceutical products in a purpose‑built facility that is set to go live in August2026. The role involves learning and operating semi‑automated compounding processes, working within cleanroom environments, and contributing to the production of medicines that directly support patients in hospitals and at home.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, compound, and inspect pharmaceutical products following established SOPs.
- Label all products according to exact specifications.
- Maintain isolator inventory and validate aseptic techniques.
- Clean and sanitise equipment and components to regulatory standards.
- Complete routine equipment sampling, testing, and facility cleaning.
Training & Development
Full training is provided regardless of prior pharmaceutical experience. Training covers equipment operation, safety protocols, and compounding procedures. Formal sign‑off is issued as each process is mastered, supporting a long‑term career in pharmaceuticals.
Compensation and Benefits
Starting Salary: £27,000. Shift Allowance: £45.35 per week. Hours: Mon–Fri rotating shifts (06:00–14:00 and 13:00–21:00). Flexibility during the initial training period is required.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (desired but not essential).
- High attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work closely with quality and training departments.
- Willingness to develop within a structured tier system.
- Strong sense of compassion, recognising that products are used by vulnerable patients.
Work Environment & Schedule
Work is performed on your feet while wearing specialised cleanroom PPE/gowns. Rotating shifts (06:00–14:00 and 13:00–21:00) Monday to Friday require flexibility during training.
