Responsibilities
- Act as stand‑in for Store Manager, motivating and engaging the team.
- Muck in: check and unpack deliveries, stock shelves, clean the branch, assemble orders.
- Deliver excellent customer service with a smile and coach the team to do the same.
- Ask questions and build relationships to ensure customers leave with everything they need.
- Create a fun working environment; maintain product availability and high branch standards so everyone loves working here.
Our stores are open from 7 AM to 8 PM, so you must be able to manage early starts and late finishes.
Day‑to‑day
- You will be the face of Toolstation, making a fantastic first impression and building long‑lasting relationships.
- Support the Store Manager and perform store functions such as checking deliveries, picking items from the warehouse and stocking shelves.
- Early and late flexibility is required – you must be able to work the full 7 AM to 8 PM schedule as needed.
- New hires with no retail experience are welcome if they are focused on delivering great service.
