What You’ll Do

  • Assist in the day‑to‑day operations of the Fertilizer Terminal.
  • Monitor and operate terminal equipment to load and unload product.
  • Perform general housekeeping operations in buildings and terminal grounds.
  • Monitor and manage quality controls such as oiling dusty product, screen outbound and inbound, run conditioners, and clean/maintain equipment and work floors.
  • Participate in safety meetings, plant inspections, and task observations.
  • Maintain a clean shipping and receiving area to prevent contamination of fertilizer products and ensure full compliance with safety procedures and personal protective equipment.

Working Hours

Standard shifts run for 8 hours with start times varying based on time of year. Opportunities for overtime exist during busy winter and spring months. An on‑call rotation occurs roughly every 4 weeks, depending on staffing.

Who You’ll Work With The Team

You will work closely with three other Fertilizer Terminal Operators and report to the Fertilizer Terminal Supervisor. The team strives to cultivate a culture that is trusting, supportive, and easy to get along with.

The Customers

You will demonstrate customer focus while supporting Saskatchewan local co‑ops and farms and dealing directly with carriers that distribute our product.

Our agro team helps feed and grow Western Canadian communities by sourcing and distributing products and services to local co‑ops in the feed, crop supplies, and fertilizer business.

Who You Are

  • Have 1+ year of relevant experience; experience working with mobile equipment and/or agriculture operations is an asset.
  • Have a Grade12 diploma or equivalent.
  • Have a valid driver’s license, can climb heights up to 140ft, and can work around dust.
  • Have excellent communication and people skills, a mechanical aptitude for terminal maintenance and repair, and knowledge of fertilizer agricultural products.
  • Mobile equipment certifications and first aid training are an asset.
