Job Overview

You’ll be working in a small and friendly Reward & Benefits team, supporting the UK business with pay-related activities. This is a Fixed Term Contract for approximately 9 months, or it could be considered an hourly contract. Salary is around £35,000 to £42,000 depending on experience.

Working Conditions

Dynamic (hybrid) working: 1-2 days per week on-site subject to business needs.

Security clearance may apply. Successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS) managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the inbox to review and process promotion requests.
  • Analyze market data and benchmarking information to ensure competitive pay structures.
  • Support data migration projects.
  • Job Evaluation Panel support.
  • Refresh and maintain job mapping data.
  • Conduct salary compliance checks.
  • Support execution of cyclical processes such as salary survey submissions, salary review processes, and incentive schemes.
  • Carry out regular pay analysis work, making recommendations and presenting findings under the guidance of the Reward Lead.
  • Supply robust data when needed to support other actions.
  • Handle queries, such as ad hoc benchmarking or pay analysis.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a similar role or in an HR department.
  • Good Excel skills for analyzing, merging, and comparing data (lookups, pivot tables, etc.).
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with large data sets.
  • Ability to create accurate management information for business use.
  • Initiative-driven, capable of working independently.
  • Strong analytical skills and a goal-oriented approach.
  • Committed, proactive, and team-oriented mindset.
  • Understanding of GDPR and protection of sensitive information.
