About the role:
A growing network of secondary schools across Leeds is looking for confident and experienced Cover Supervisors or Unqualified Teachers to join their teams as soon as possible. With opportunities available on both part‑time and full‑time schedules, this role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working across different subjects, adapting quickly to new environments, and maintaining a positive learning atmosphere. The trust offers supportive leadership, consistent work, and the chance to develop your classroom practice across a variety of settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver pre‑planned lessons across a range of subjects at KS3 and KS4.
- Maintain strong classroom behaviour and ensure a calm, productive learning environment.
- Follow school policies, routines, and safeguarding procedures consistently.
- Support pupils in staying on task and engaging with learning activities.
- Communicate effectively with teaching staff and senior leaders regarding progress or concerns.
- Adapt to different school environments within the trust as required.
Pre‑requisites
- Previous UK school‑based experience is essential, ideally within a secondary setting.
- Confident behaviour management and the ability to lead a classroom independently.
- Strong communication skills and a flexible, proactive approach.
- Ability to drive is an advantage for travelling between trust schools, but not essential.
- Availability to start as soon as possible on a part‑time or full‑time basis.
If you’re confident in the classroom and ready to support a range of learners across a dynamic trust, this role offers a great opportunity to build experience and make a real impact.
