About the role

justteachers is currently recruiting for a full‑time Science Teacher to join a well‑established and supportive secondary school in the Boston area. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving Science department from September, delivering engaging lessons and supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4.

The school prides itself on its positive learning culture, strong leadership, and commitment to providing high‑quality education for all pupils.

Key Responsibilities

• Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4 (specialism welcomed but not essential).
• Planning and delivering inspiring, well‑structured lessons.
• Assessing, tracking and supporting student progress effectively.
• Creating an engaging learning environment that supports all abilities.
• Contributing to departmental planning, curriculum development and enrichment.
• Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, effort and achievement.

Pre‑requisites

• A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with experience teaching Science.
• Someone enthusiastic, adaptable and committed to student success.
• Strong subject knowledge and excellent classroom management.
• Two recent references and an enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
