Weekend Chef – Liverpool
Location: Liverpool – Redford Court, 7 Birt Close, Liverpool, United Kingdom
Pay: Up to £15.43 per hour
Hours: 14 hours per week (Saturday and Sunday)
About the Role
- Ensure all food has been correctly and safely prepared, stored, and presented in accordance with Brainkind standards.
- Ensure all equipment is cleaned at the end of each shift in line with the established procedures.
- Record cleaning and equipment maintenance schedules following Brainkind policies.
- Report equipment faults, repairs, and maintenance needs in line with local procedures.
- Record all information required by Brainkind policies and procedures.
- Report any unmet training needs regarding equipment use or processes.
- Facilitate the safe and smooth running of the service, maintaining a safe working environment, confidentiality of service users, and, when reasonable, take on additional tasks.
About You
- Level 2 Food Hygiene or higher.
- NVQ or SVQ Level 2 General Catering or equivalent.
- Previous experience working in kitchens.
- Demonstrable skills in cooking for large groups and the ability to accommodate varying dietary needs.
- Knowledge of regulations such as COSHH, Health & Safety, and HACCP.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to work closely with service users and communicate effectively with them.
- Fluent verbal and written communication skills.
- Competent IT skills.
