SEN Teaching Assistant – Milton Keynes

About the role:

Justteachers is seeking a dedicated and empathetic SEN Teaching Assistant to join an inclusive primary school in Milton Keynes. The full-time position starts May 2026 and runs until March 2027. You will support pupils with a variety of special educational needs, helping them access the curriculum and develop confidence in a nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support pupils with SEN in one-to-one and small group settings
• Work alongside class teachers and SENCO to deliver personalised learning
• Encourage social, emotional, and behavioural development
• Assist with differentiated learning resources and activities
• Promote inclusion and positive engagement in all classroom activities

Pre-requisites:

• Experience supporting pupils with SEN in a school or educational setting
• Patient, calm, and adaptable approach to learning
• Enhanced DBS clearance (or willing to obtain)
• Two professional references from the past two years
