CAD Technician

Tony Gee and Partners is looking for a CAD Technician to join their multi-disciplinary team based in St Albans. As a CAD Technician in the St Albans office, you will support our teams to deliver a variety of exciting and interesting projects. We work across multiple sectors, using our design expertise to find innovative solutions for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Support our teams to deliver a variety of exciting and interesting projects.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum HNC or equivalent in a relevant technical subject.
• Typically 3 or more years’ experience in industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Microstation / Revit / Civil 3D.
• Ability to produce accurate and appropriate engineering drawings and models in an efficient and effective manner.
• Good communication skills.

Desirable

• Experience in use of ProjectWise or other Common Data Environments.
• EngTech or professional recognition with another institution.
• Experience in any of the following: Structures, Drainage, Geotechnical, Civils and Highways working in the Rail/Highways and Power and Energy Sectors.

• Civils 3D (Highway / Geo-technical)
• Revit Structures (Intelligent modelling)
• Microstation PowerDraft (2D)
• OpenBuildings Designer (3D)
• OpenBuildings Designer (Intelligent modelling)
