Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing positions
Pay: £115 – £145 per day (paid via PAYE – no umbrella fees)

About the Role
As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) in Worksop, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across a variety of primary school settings.
This Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) role in Worksop may involve delivering pre-planned lessons during PPA cover, leading small group interventions, and supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis.
Working across Worksop primary schools, you will gain valuable experience in different classroom environments while maintaining flexibility in your working week.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver pre-planned lessons during PPA cover or staff absence
- Support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 in Worksop schools
- Lead small group and 1:1 interventions
- Promote positive behaviour and engagement in learning
- Support assessment, planning and classroom organisation
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs and leadership teams
- Follow safeguarding and school policies at all times
Candidate Requirements
- Level 4 HLTA qualification with relevant experience
- Strong HLTA experience and Degree educated (essential)
- Confidence delivering lessons to whole classes
- Good understanding of the primary curriculum
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
