Overview

Join us as a Teacher, where you will be instrumental in delivering high‑quality learning, utilising a range of teaching and learning strategies to ensure student success. This position requires a professional who is aware of strategies for improving learning, understands curriculum developments, and is creative in finding solutions to enhance student performance.

Responsibilities

Implement and use a wide range of teaching and learning strategies within the classroom, applying techniques such as Assessment for Learning (AfL) to continually improve student performance. Effectively use student level data to identify areas for development and raise standards. Maintain high expectations for all students; communicate effectively with students and parents. Work collaboratively with the team, sharing good practice, and demonstrate creativity in problem‑solving and willingness to adopt new approaches.

Qualifications

Essential qualifications include a degree in an appropriate discipline related to the subject and a teaching qualification with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Required experience: recent and relevant teaching experience (employment or training) and experience of assessment at Key Stage 3 and 4. Confidence in using standard computer packages (word processing, email, spreadsheets) and understanding how these tools enhance learning. High levels of professionalism, including ability to relate well to students and recognise potential safeguarding issues.
