Position
Role involves contributing to the development and enhancement of emotional wellbeing and mental health provision for children, young people, and their families at Leeds City Academy.
Responsibilities
- Support the School Counsellor and Academic Leader in managing an active caseload of students requiring targeted support.
- Deliver evidence‑based interventions in both group and one‑to‑one settings.
- Act as a Mental Health First Aider and play a key role in delivering staff training to promote and strengthen wellbeing support across the school.
Requirements
- Appointments will be subject to Safer Recruitment Procedures and an enhanced DBS check.
- Role involves contact with children and engagement in regulated activity; applicants must not be barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children.
