We are looking to recruit a Homeless Resettlement Worker (known internally as a Support Worker), who is motivated, person centred, keen to work as part of a team to deliver great results and ultimately make a positive difference.Key Responsibilities:Promote choice by working in partnership with internal colleagues and external stakeholders to meet the diverse needs of service users and break down barriers in accessing more permanent housing.Work in line with all relevant legislation and guidelines to protect service users, staff and visitors from any abuse, accident, or injury.Maintaining and developing day to day office duties and provide administrative support.Document and maintain factual service records relating to customer welfare, support, and any Health & safety mattersRespect the diversity of other people’s culture, faith, and practice.Understand and work within the Mission and Values of The Salvation Army.Support the Spiritual Programme running within the service where required.Any other duties as reasonably expected of someone in the fulfilment of this roleThe successful candidate(s) will Show:RespectCompassionResilienceProblem solving skillsGood verbal and written communication skillsGood Computer skills (or willingness to learn)CommitmentFlexibilityIn order to complete your application please download and read the job profile and any other attachments.In the job profile you will find the criteria required for the role please make sure that you address this in your supporting statement as this forms the basis of our shortlisting.Appointment will be subject to satisfactory references, a criminal record check, Enhanced DBS Disclosure check for the adult workforce and evidence of your Right to Work in the UK in line with Home Office requirements.As we are not a licensed sponsor, applicants must already have the right to work in the UK.
