Job Overview

Job Title: Legal Apprentice

Location: Hybrid role with expectation to work across Telford and Stafford

Salary: £10.58 per hour

Hours: 36 hours per week

Contract Type: Apprenticeship, 2 year fixed‑term

We are now offering an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed Legal Apprentice to join our in-house legal team. This is a career‑development role where you will gain hands‑on experience, work alongside experienced legal professionals, and achieve a Level 3 Paralegal Apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

  • Litigation – assisting with debt recovery, possession claims, anti‑social behaviour remedies, disrepair claims, lease enforcement, and compliance matters
  • Conveyancing – supporting property sales, boundary dispute resolution, securitisation, registrations, commercial leases, and lease extensions
  • Liability Claims – liaising with colleagues and claims handlers to gather evidence and respond to personal injury and property damage claims
  • Tenancy Management – helping to draft tenancy agreements and respond to tenancy enquiries

You’ll also develop essential skills in file management, legal research, communication, and customer service.

Qualifications

  • 5 GCSEs including English and Maths (Grade 9–4 / A*–C)
  • 3 A‑Levels (Grades A*–D)
  • Basic Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) skills
  • Ability to compose simple emails and documents
  • Basic record‑keeping skills
  • Clear communication skills (phone, email, Teams, face‑to‑face)
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Willingness to learn about the organization and its services
  • Awareness of Health & Safety, Confidentiality, and Data Protection (training provided)
  • Professional and respectful manner
  • Full UK driving licence or willingness to work towards obtaining one
