Driver Hire Leeds East are recruiting 1 x Permanent 7.5 Tonne HGV Delivery Driver for our client based in LS10.
Our client is a well established plumbing and supplies business with a national presence. They have 2 depots in Leeds and, due to securing a new contract, they are needing a new HGV driver to join their team in Hunslet.
Role
As a 7.5 Tonne HGV Delivery Driver you will be required to deliver plumbing supplies to other businesses in the north of England. A normal day would consist of completing between 10‑15 drops a day.
Most drops you complete will be to repeat customers, this means you will need a friendly personality as you will be seeing the same people on a weekly basis.
Handballing is required as part of the role; most of the products you will be delivering are light in weight.
Shift Pattern
- Monday to Friday – 6:45 AM starts – 4:00 PM – 42.5 hours per week
- No bank holidays
Pay Rate
£13.84 per hour – £30.5K per year before any overtime or bonus payments
