Trainee Recruitment Consultant (HR Division) – Chilwell, Nottinghamshire
Responsibilities
- Phase 1: Training & Candidate Management (0-6 months) – learn the HR recruitment market, source and screen candidates through outbound activity, build talent pipelines, support senior consultants on vacancies.
- Phase 2: Client Development & Progression (6+ months) – increase outbound business development activity, build relationships with HR hiring managers, manage roles end‑to‑end, negotiate offers, close deals, and drive revenue.
Qualifications
- Confident making outbound calls and having conversations every day.
- Ability to build rapport quickly and influence people.
- Driven, resilient and motivated by targets and results.
- Professional, articulate and proactive.
- Strong communication skills, particularly over the phone.
- Confidence in making high volumes of outbound calls.
- Competitive mindset with a drive to hit targets and earn commission.
- Resilient, positive and motivated by success.
- Organised with the ability to manage a busy workload.
- Interest in HR or people‑focused careers is advantageous.
