KS4 Art Teacher – SEMH & Alternative Provision
Dacorum, Hertfordshire Full‑Time | Temporary September 2026 Start M3 – UPS3 (£38,627 – £52,490) Salary will be determined based on experience and position on the Main Pay Range. The maximum salary applies to candidates with substantial teaching experience. Teach Now is recruiting for a passionate and resilient Art Teacher to join a specialist Education Support Centre supporting young people with SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health) and behavioural needs. Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and differentiated KS4 Art lessons.
- Support students with SEMH and behavioural needs.
- Build strong, positive relationships with learners.
- Use creative approaches to encourage confidence and engagement.
- Work collaboratively with pastoral and therapeutic teams.
- Maintain a safe, supportive, and purposeful learning environment.
Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching Art at KS4.
- PRU, alternative provision or SEMH experience desirable.
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
- Calm, resilient, and solution‑focused approach.
- Passion for inclusion and supporting vulnerable learners.
