Water Hygiene Technician

Location: Yorkshire. Salary: £23‑28k.

Responsibilities

• Legionella temperature monitoring
• Water sampling
• Inspection of hot & cold tanks
• Cleaning & disinfections
• TMV servicing
• Shower descaling
• Completion of reports

Requirements

• Held a similar role
• Experience with cooling towers beneficial but not essential
• Good understanding of ACoP L8 legionella compliance/regulation
• Holding an industry recognised qualification
• Good computer skills
• Positive attitude and work ethic
• Good communication skills
• Physically fit and able to carry out tasks involved in water hygiene works
• Experience in water treatment/hygiene industry preferred but not essential
• Full driving licence
