Job Description:

Science Teacher – KS4 & STEM Dacorum, Hertfordshire Permanent | Full-Time September 2026 Start M1 – UPS3 (£34,398 – £52,490) Salary will be determined based on experience and position on the Main Pay Range. The maximum salary applies to candidates with substantial teaching experience equivalent to UPS3.

The Role

The successful candidate will deliver engaging and high‑quality Science lessons across Key Stage 4 while helping to promote STEM learning and inspire curiosity, ambition, and achievement in students. You will join a friendly and collaborative department committed to raising standards and creating a positive learning experience for all learners.

Key Responsibilities

Ideal Candidate

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Strong subject knowledge within Science
  • Passionate about raising attainment and student outcomes
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • Motivated, organised, and committed to professional development
  • ECTs and experienced teachers welcome to apply
