About the Role
Skillademia.com is seeking an experienced and passionate UI/UX designer to develop and deliver a comprehensive Web Accessibility course. The role involves creating a curriculum that covers key aspects of web accessibility, including WCAG guidelines, assistive technologies, and best practices for inclusive digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Design a curriculum outline that includes all necessary subjects for students to learn, with practical exercises and projects.
- Record screen‑recorded video lectures, using a professional microphone to guide students through the material.
- Develop engaging course materials such as video lectures, readings, assignments, and interactive activities that cater to diverse learning styles.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Instructional Design, or a related field.
- At least one year of experience in web development with a focus on accessibility, and prior experience teaching or training in an online environment.
- Possession of relevant accessibility certifications (e.g., CPACC, WAS, CPWA).
- Expert-level knowledge of web accessibility evaluation tools and assistive technologies.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, fluent in English.
