Chef – Wellesley Road, Camden

Salary: £18.00 per hour

Hours: 21 hours per week (07:00-15:00 or 09:30-17:30, including alternative weekends)

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, cook and serve meals for residents and others in a timely manner
• Provide a varied diet catering to cultural preferences of service users
• Cater for celebrations and other events in the Home
• Order supplies within the catering budget and company policy guidelines, using approved suppliers when senior cook absent
• Maintain accurate catering records in accordance with HACCP
• Participate in inspections by Environmental Health and/or care regulators and Local Authorities
• Maintain a high standard of hygiene within the kitchen by adhering to HACCP and COSHH guidelines
• Assist in maintaining a safe and healthy working environment by ensuring adherence to Health & Safety and Welfare
• Manage the Catering Team
• Establish rapport with residents and their families to satisfy dietary needs
