Role Description
This is a full‑time, on‑site Sales Representative role based in Leeds. The Sales Representative will identify and develop new business opportunities, manage a pipeline of prospects, and nurture relationships with existing clients. Daily responsibilities include conducting client meetings and calls, understanding customer requirements, and proposing storage and backup solutions that align with their needs. The role involves preparing and delivering presentations, drafting proposals and quotes, negotiating terms, and closing deals in line with company targets. The Sales Representative will collaborate closely with technical and account management teams to ensure a smooth handover from sale to delivery and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within IT infrastructure, storage, backup, or related technology solutions.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in clear, business‑focused language.
- Ability to build and maintain long‑term client relationships, manage a sales pipeline, and consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
- Comfortable working on‑site in Leeds, visiting client locations when required, and collaborating with internal technical and operations teams.
- Self‑motivated, organized, and results‑oriented, with strong time management and documentation skills (CRM usage, reporting, and forecasting).
- Familiarity with next‑generation storage, backup, cloud, or data protection technologies is highly beneficial; willingness to learn is essential.
- Relevant education or professional experience in business, sales, or information technology; industry certifications are a plus.
