Job Description:

IKEA Exeter are looking to welcome Sales Assistants to join our delightful and friendly team. If you are looking for a role where you get to use your active selling skills to help co‑create the wonderful everyday with our many in‑store guests, we would be happy to hear from you. This role calls for someone who is motivated, customer‑focused and comfortable providing friendly and helpful service to customers.

We have 12‑hour contracts working across our Showroom and Market Hall, with availability to work two 6‑hour shifts on Saturdays and Sundays. This is a permanent contract throughout the year, including holiday periods.

  • You help customers enjoy a positive shopping experience by approaching them, learning what they need, and suggesting helpful options for their home.
  • You are always committed to the range, curious to learn the stories behind the products and their design.
  • You contribute to sales growth by maintaining a clean area, ensuring every product is priced, and keeping displays attractive and simple to navigate.
