Recovery Worker

Stockport Connect Hub – SK2 6RE

We are looking for a Compassionate, person‑centred Recovery Worker to support individuals living with enduring mental health conditions. The role involves providing tailored care and fostering continuous recovery and well‑being.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver compassionate, recovery‑focused care to support individuals in building resilience and coping strategies.
  • Assess individual needs and develop person‑centred care plans.
  • Provide daily home and community visits, ensuring safe and welcoming environments.
  • Facilitate partnerships, signpost and refer to specialist, universal and targeted support services.
  • Monitor and review progress, updating care plans as necessary.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • No specific prior industry experience or qualifications required.
  • Full driving licence and own transport preferred.
  • Commitment to person‑centred, holistic care.

Benefits

  • Hourly salary: £13.12 per hour.
  • Weekly hours: 37 hours.
  • Paid holidays: up to 28 days per year including bank holidays (pro rata for part time).
  • Holiday flexibility: buy or sell up to 2 weeks (statutory limits apply).
  • Pay double time for Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.

  • Cycle to work, car maintenance and 45p per mile travel expenses.
