Housekeeper | East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust

Responsibilities

• To work as an integral part of the team ensuring a high quality service to patients.
• To be responsible for the coordination of all patient facilities in the ward area ensuring a clean, safe and comfortable environment. Other tasks may include those to meet individual patient’s needs as determined by the Ward Sister and to liaise with support services departments.
• To assist the Ward Sister to ensure the appropriate and effective delivery of facilities services in order to properly maintain the patient environment.
• The post holder will have the responsibility for maintaining high standards of cleanliness of clinical ward equipment specified and the cleanliness of areas where the equipment is stored and those areas that fall outside of the Sodexo contract.
